Resources for New Graduates

As noted elsewhere on this website, most of the positions available through Austin Park require two or more years of work experience. Here are some resources available elsewhere on the internet that new I.T. graduates trying to find that all important first job might find helpful. Note that companies may be looking for new graduates but not using a recruiting firm or advertising extensively: make a point of visiting websites of companies you are interested in working for to see if they have a careers section.

Career Edge - Career Edge offers paid internships for graduates within Canadian organizations.

College Internship Guide - mostly American.

Internships in Math, Science, and Technology - mostly American

Technical Internships and Volunteer Work - listings from Canada and the U.S.

Young Canada Works - Young Canada Works is a program from the Canadian government, and will place new graduates (under 30) in an internship for an organization in a foreign country.
