Q. Do you recruit new graduates?
A. The majority of the positions that are available through Austin Park are for professionals with 2 or more years of work experience. Companies looking for new graduates usually use other means in their search. If you are a new grad, check out our page of resources suited to new grads.

Q. I am moving to Canada. Can you help me find a job?
A. It is very difficult for us to proceed until you are available. As well, you must be legally able to work in Canada (e.g. a landed immigrant or have a work visa). If you are not yet in Canada or the U.S., please contact us when you arrive. If you need help getting started with immigration, check out the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website.

Q. I am an I.T. professional with experience. What should I do to be considered for jobs by your firm?
A. Please send us an updated version of your resume. It will be given to a recruiter who will begin to look for jobs for you.

Q. How should I submit my resume?
A. The easiest way to submit your resume is by attaching it to an e-mail. You can also use our online form or fax it to us. Please follow these instructions:

1. There is no need to apply more than once: you will be considered for all available positions. To avoid confusion, please send us one copy only of your resume.

2. If you have sent us your resume before and the information changes, please send us an updated copy, noting that you have dealt with Austin Park in the past in the body of your e-mail. If you know the name of the consultant that you worked with, please let us know so that we can forward your e-mail to the correct person.

3. We scan most resumes into our database. Resumes that use "headers" and "footers" do not scan properly, so it is best not to use them. If you need help with composing your resume, see the resume resources available under Job Hunting Tips.

4. For thorough evaluation, we request you send your resume in .doc (Word97), .rtf, .txt, or .html format to our e-mail address by clicking on the link provided above (preferred), or fax your resume to (416) 488-9601.

5. We check mail daily. All responses will be kept on file in our inhouse database for consideration of up and coming opportunities. Not all applications will be immediately responded to, we keep all applications on file for a period of 6 months.
